Dean Strong, M.Div. ACC

With education and training in business, organizations, and human behavior, Dean Strong brings 30 years of experience helping individuals and organizations successfully discern, negotiate and implement desired behavioral changes. His expertise includes facilitating personal and organizational development--identifying core values and developing specific strategies to turn them into reality.
Business experience includes management positions with Haggen Foods, The Boeing Company, and Joseph C. Cannizaro Interests, a leading commercial real estate developer in the Southeast. He is a co-founder of Property One, which has grown into a regional commercial real estate management, leasing and sales company.
Within the faith community, Dean has served as a crises counselor at a regional medical trauma center, a head of staff in a mid-sized church, an associate for adult education and spiritual development in a large church, and a regional administrator. In 1992 he founded a new church in Snohomish County. He also directed the regional vocational and leadership development process for a major protestant denomination.
His work within both the nonprofit and for-profit communities has led to a deep understanding of how individuals form and work within teams, groups and organizations, and how they can better function. He began serving private clients, coaching leaders and offering career counseling, in 2001.
Formal education: Whitman College, the University of Puget Sound, Seattle University and Columbia Theological Seminary. He has pursued extensive post graduate work in marriage and family counseling, conflict mediation, organizational systems, leadership training, ethics, and co-active coaching:
